About

Alice was born in Kent and lived in the USA for 20 years where she studied Art and Psychology at Georgia state University, and Art Therapy at the American Art Therapy Association in Atlanta Georgia. She now lives in Sussex. She worked with abused and neglected children and adolescents in a Psychiatric Hospital and treatment centre. Where she assessed, explored and healed many complex issues using art therapy.

She also worked with the Psychical Research Foundation in North Carolina and was one of the first “Ghost Busters” working with clients affected by paranormal experiences.

Her art is influenced by observing the natural environment and spiritual experiences, using a variety of forms and colours around us. She paints in watercolours and inks in vibrant and unusual ways, reflecting shapes and forms around animals, birds and nature spirits. Her images are surreal, ethereal and a psychedelic expression of her own mystic journey.

She has shown her work in galleries in America including Texas, Kentucky, North Carolina, New York, and Long Island. She has also taken part in shows in Luxembourg and France, and locally in Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Hastings and London.
